Toyota surprised the assiduity inmid-December when it blazoned not one, but 12 forthcoming electric vehicles (EVs). The news (via Toyota) was a welcome disclosure to numerous, including SlashGear, and marks a bit of a departure from the company’s former messaging.
Toyota helped launch the EV request with its Prius family of cold-blooded buses, which the company launched in 1997. The Prius snappily established itself as a request leader and continues to be one of the most popular cold-blooded vehicles on the request.

Toyota chairman Akio Toyoda stressed the significance of Toyota’s participation, especially as it relates to climate change, in his reflections at the event publicizing the new vehicles.
“ I believe that achieving carbon impartiality means realizing a world in which all people living on this earth continue to live happily,” saidMr. Toyoda.
“ We want to help realize such a world. This has been and will continue to be Toyota’s want and our charge as a global company. For that challenge, we need to reduce CO2 emigrations as much as possible, as soon as possible.”
The alternate reason we ’re agitated about Toyota’s sweats is because of the technological position the company is in. Given that Toyota nearly single-handedly vulgarized cold-blooded buses and was times ahead of its challengers, it stands to reason the company will bring the same technological and engineering advantages to bear in the EV request.
