Cadillac, like most car manufacturers in this decade, did not want to be left by the Hype EV train. Its parent company, General Motors, was committed to investing $ 35 billion in EV in 2025. Recently released 2023 Cadillac Lyriq, a SUV of all-literacy, and we took it for a test drive. Proving Cadillac’s dedication for luxury fashion, it stands out from the crowd with its unique design.
But Cadillac has not been completed- it has more EV models that have not been released to meet the target of removing most of the internal combustion engine vehicles today. Occurs for Cadillac in the 20s, “Former President of Cadillac and the current President of the North American Division GM told CNBC in 2019. To keep his promise, Cadillac had revealed details from the Cadillac Celestiq, the second EV after Cadillac Lyriq.
This will be the most sophisticated cadillac vehicle
Cadillac Celestiq is an All-Electric Handbuilt sedan inspired by the design of Eldorado Brugham 1957 and “V-16-powered coach who was ordered earlier in the era before the war.” Just like Cadillac Lyriq, it was built on the GM Ultium platform. But unlike a typical sedan, Cadillac Celestiq has a long and wide bubble palka.Inside the vehicle, the most prominent features include 55-inch Pillar-to-Pillar-to-Pillar Screen, Touch Screen Console, and display screen for rear passengers. Red leather coatings, real wood panels, and original metal trims are all suitable for the authenticity of upper class experience. “We must reconsider all aspects to immerse customers, all their senses, and make connections with vehicles through the best original materials, extraordinary details, and sophisticated technology,” Laetitia Lopez said, creative designers, cadillac and trim colors.
“The goal is not to have anything that will not be used by our clients in any way, so you know whether it is a skin, it must be a genuine leather,” Lopez said, “If it is metal, it must be a real metal.”Another cool feature is a smart glass roof that allows passengers to adjust lighting in four different settings. Not to mention, Cadillac Celestiq will include GM Ultra Cruise’s hand -free autopilot technology.
Cadillac Celestiq will be built at the GM GMM Global Technical Center in Michigan which is designed by the famous architect Eero Saarinen. Interestingly, the team that designed Celestiq was also inspired by the same architect. Cadillac has not revealed when Celestiq will be produced or how much it costs – but it is said to be the “most sophisticated vehicle ever” in its ranks. According to Architectural Digest, it can be sold in 2023 at a price of around $ 300,000.
